Deadline: Comments must be received by midnight EST June 14th, 2010. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

    I have appliqued a necktie on a onesie. It was before I had a sewing machine so I hand appliqued it. Oh my goodness – did it take foreever!?!!!!

    Hi!! These are so precious! I have added laces and embroidery to baby onesies…..a cute little duck…frankly these are so much cuter!

    I have jazzed up onsie with my students for other teachers, students or helpers when they are pregnant. My boys loved doing it.
    Personally I love the desingn you show with the anchor, my father is a tin can sailor, so it has special meaning for me and my family.

    I always watch your show, and am a friend on Facebook. thought the book was adorable, but didn’t really see a need to try to win it until…..I got the “are you sitting down” phone call! I’m going to be a grandma again in February! My daughter’s little girl will be five by then, and now a new baby!Yippee!

    Hi Cathie, Thank you so much for all the fun and easy crafts you present! My children are past, way past onesies! However, I have several friends at church with adorable little ones whom I would love to make these crafts. My 12 & 15 year old daughters love crafting too!

    Hi,

    I definitely altered shirts & onesies for my two but they are past that age now. But our non-profit group puts together new mommy bags for all our expectant moms (30 right now) and we’re going to get together and decorate onesies to go in the bag. This kit would be super helpful with this project!!

    I just found your website.. I have altered some onsies usually by applique, an interesting motif cut from fabric. I would like to try dyeing them.

    I love making and giving hand made gifts. Altered onesies are the perfect shower gifts! You can customize them for the room themes, boy/girl, season, etc. I love trying new techniques and making cute one-of-a-kind treasures. Thanks for the giveaway Cathie, and all of your creative juice 😉

    I haven’t altered a onesie, but have made many burp cloths and blankies for newborn baby gifts. I would love to add onesies to this list!

    I have altered many a onesies, but I put Arabic and Farsi words on them, since I can’t find them anywhere for my friends or kids. I’ve added a princess crown with the word “Amira” which means princess in Arabic and a different one with a crown that has “Amir” which is prince.

    I’ve also altered ones with I Heart and then an image of a map Iran, with the heart in different colours of the Iranian flag.

    It would be fun to get your book and try other things (feele, the Arabic word for elephant under that image and so on…)
