Because of your post last week, it got me thinking about all the Plaid fabric paint I have in my art studio (originally for One Stroke painting)

So, this weekend I went out & picked up some baby one suits, so I could paint on them.

I’m super excited, I’m going to be an Aunt for the first time in June, so I’ve got to get busy with all these plain, white, baby one suits!

I can’t wait for your book to come out – I need more ideas!

I’ve never altered a snapsuit. I have used fabric paint. I remember using fabric crayons at my birthday sleepover. We decorated pillowcases.

I want to start doing some fabric crafts with my son. We’ve got some Monster Trucks that would make great wheel patterns! I also have two new babies in the family. Something original would be cute.

Cathie, I have never done painting on a baby onesies but have painted with acrylic paint on baby shirts for friends. Usually this is done to cover up stains and make the shirts last. I used to paint shirts and give them away to friends as gifts, also paint shirts for my daughters when they were younger and again I used acrylic paints and brushes. I love to create shirts, right now I am in the process of painting bibs for a friend who is expecting within the next two months. Alas no grandchildren for me yet just granddogs! I haven’t painted anything for them to wear yet, but I might have to soon! Love the idea of having a book to get ideas from!

I’ve never worked with a baby snapsuit before but it looks like so much fun! I’m a long time lover/user of fabric paint — the love affair started in 4th grade when we designed t-shirts for Earth Day and I never stopped 🙂 My favorite thing to do these days is mix iron-on graphics with fabric paint and glitter…or sometimes spraypaint over textured/patterned stencils! I’m currently in college and hoping to turn my love of design into a career. Wish me luck!

Decorating onesies is my favorite baby shower activity! I also love painting t-shirts and have a drawer full of fun and funky stencils.

No I nver altered a baby snappy onsie but I have used fabric paint before! I had a birthday party for my daughter in which all the girls brought a plain tee to decorate at the party. It was their favor to take home and a memory of my daughters b-day. I povided the paint, glitter gems etc..it was a blast!

I have a 7 week old little boy, and I miss crafting! I pre-ordered the book, but I ‘d love to win some supplies to get me started. I used fabric paint when I was little, but not recently. I’ve never altered a snap suit, but I sure have dressed my son in a ton of them!!

I like to use fabric paint, as well as general acrylic and textile medium. Fabric paint is as good a canvas as any and much easier to wear than a piece of paper.

I have used fabric paint – designing t-shirts for a day care I used to own – so that when we took the kids on an outing they all had the same kind of t-shirt – love it~!~
