Concert tee time and I’m sharing an easy tutorial for making your own concert T-shirt. Last night we went to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck and Thundercat concert at So-Fi stadium in Los Angeles! It was an amazing concert and a long over due date-night.

I preached my kids tee and ironed fusible webbing to the back side of the graphic. Once cooled you can cut out the design and iron onto a t-shirt.

I like to sew a quick stitch around the design for a few reasons….one, it helps hold the design place and two, it adds a fun texture and detail to the outer edge.
For the hem I cut a two-inch border of fringe. It was fun and kept me cooler…and at almost 52….I’ll take “cooler” any day.
From a baby tee (bought at Target) to a concert tee!

We had floor seats! So fun and a great way to end out summer. š
Thundercat was awesome! He opened the show and we made sure to get to the stadium early enough to see him!
Swoon SWOON! BECK rocked the show! So amazing to see this favorite after so many years listening to him.
And the CHILI PEPPERS! Eddie was so excited. I don’t think he sat down for the entire concert. They played lots of new songs and of course all of their classics.
The guys are so fierce at their age…. amazing music and energy. Flea was out of this world.
