I’m obsessed with making Trucker Hats! This is such a fun DIY fashion craft to try. No rules and you can customize to any style! Grab some patches, glue, beads and charms! I made this one for our day at the races but I think this would be cute for any sport.
The pearl chain was from Michaels and was pre-cut to hat size. You could easily make your own hat chain.
I added Texas themed charms to the chain because our race was in Texas. I used jump rings to attach the charms to the chain. You could also add a little strip of bandanna or fabric.
I added the words to my hat with letterheads. I sewed the beads to the hat for extra security.
We had so much fun at the races and I got sooooo many compliments on my DIY race Day Trucker Hat!
